Air insulated switchgear panels (AIS), with Megawin Electric make vacuum circuit breakers (VCB)

 

·Both the panels and breakers are designed, type tested & complying to latest IEC standards & GCC specifications

Specific features

 

  • Very compact. Low civil cost. User friendly

  • Separate compartments, with metallic partition, for busbar, cable, circuit breaker, low voltage and VT as applicable

  • Eco friendly as arc interruption happens in vacuum and SF6 fee

  • VCBs are either on floor rolling trolley or in a mid-mounted cassette

  • Light weight Vacuum Breaker trolleys designed for easy & safe handling

  • Motorized spring charged mechanism, with manual option

  • Total safety to operating personnel as all operations, including rack-in and rack-out of VCB Trolley, with front doors in closed and securely held condition

  • Provided with all mandatory safety interlocks and padlocks

  • Ready to connect to any remote control & monitoring system and to any SCADA system

  • Sufficient head room in the cable compartment i.e, more than 650mm, for the connection & bending radius of power cables

  • Suitable for single or three core cables, with a maximum of 12 per phase

  • Mechanical push to TRIP and CLOSE buttons, with front door closed condition

  • Circuit breaker and VT compartments have interlocked access

  • Busbar and cable compartments have tool based access

  • Busbars are made of electrolytic copper

  • Busbar compartment is segregated for each panel for not letting any arc fault to adjacent panels

  • In a line-up arrangement, Internal Arc venting duct is formed to direct arc to outside the substation

  • Complete with CTs, PTs, Relays, Meters, Control & Indication devices fully wired up and ready to use
